Will flattening change how the PDF looks? No. The visual appearance remains identical. The only change is that interactive form fields become static content.
Is the process reversible? No. Flattening is permanent. Keep the original filled-form PDF as a backup before flattening if you might need to edit it later.
Can I flatten a PDF with digital signatures? Yes, digital signature fields are flattened along with all other form elements. Note that this will convert the signature to a visual representation — cryptographic signature validation will no longer be possible after flattening.
